Service, Spirit, and Success Day!
The first annual ILC Service, Spirit, and Success Day was totally amazing! The weather cooperated with clouds but none of the predicted showers, everything ran smoothly, and the kids had an awesome time. We competes four awesome service projects, had almost every student participate in more than one spirit event, ate wonderful BBQ (thanks Matt), and had 20+ guests join us today for awards. Jevon...

Happy Friday
Wonderful and super productive Friday at work. Planned an awesome end of the year Olympic event with some of the awesome people that I work with and got to go see one of our talented students in a fashion show at South Tech with my work BFF. Doesn’t hurt that the sun is shining and I am at home with a glass of moscato before 5! Hope everyone is having a fantastic Friday!
Catching Up
Warning… I am going to try and catch up on some blogging that I have been putting off for far too long. Finally have some time to relax in the sun and get some of these lovely memories uploaded so that we do not have a two month gap in our year. Also need to keep up with the happenings as they happen to I won’t have a shot at putting together a Christmas poem. :-)

Leaving on an Airplane...
We are on the way to the airport and it is officially the beginning of our Christmas vacation! Can’t believe the ski trip is finally here and can’t wait to join the rest of the Holthouse crew out in Tahoe. Praying for a smooth day of travel and a safe arrival by the middle of the afternoon. Unbelievable!!! The Cards pulled it off!! The October magic is still with the Cardinals! It is great to be a St. Louis fan tonight! The team that never gives up is proving everyone wrong again! LETS GO CARDS!!!

Welcome Fall!
The cool weather has arrived, pumpkin spice lattes are at Starbucks, football has started, and we are welcoming fall in full force at the Meals house. Tonight that included yummy steak chili, mulled wine, a fire, and warm white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. It has been a perfect fall night and we are looking forward to plenty more o come!
Total Ten Year Success
The ten year reunion turned out even better than expected last night! We had a great turn out at the Kemp Auto Museum for drinks and dancing. The atmosphere was great with tons of old pictures, yearbooks, and all of the hits from 2002 blasting on the dance floor. Busy Busy Busy
So much this weekend. Deck building, pool parties, drinks with friends, time with family, some surprises, and not enough sleep. Great weekend all in all. Dinner with a friend tonight (chicken pillows… Yummm) and manis with my work BFF tomorrow. The pace doesn’t seem to be slowing down but we are loving every minute of it. So blessed.
